Celebrate Spring!

Welcome to the latest happenings here at For the Stitcher’s Soul. It's time to celebrate...  I hope you are all enjoying this picture perfect weather- isn’t it simply wonderful!?

Not only am I grateful for the sunshine and warmth, I am also so very grateful for all of you. Your support truly brings so much joy. I love sharing that joy with you through our shared passion of stitching the things we love. With that said, I have two very special Announcements. First,

WE ARE MOVING!

Yup, that’s right! I have found a bigger location on Delaware Ave in Delmar. I expect the move to occur the last week of June so the store will be closed during that time. I am planning a Grand RE-Opening in July to celebrate the move and our Birthday. Watch for more details!

The second is…

Retreat is BACK

I am bringing back my retreats. I have done them in the past and they were a huge success. Now that the pandemic is winding down, It is time. It will be the 3rd weekend in October 21-23. It will be located in a space adjacent to the store instead of at Century House. Seating will be limited. For out of towners, there are hotels over on 9W. It is sure to be fun. Watch for more Details!

In other news, I just finished teaching 2 needle roll classes via Zoom, each with a great group of ladies. We had a fun evening,  and if any of you who attended have a finished needle roll you’d like to share with me and my blog readers please snap a photo and email it to me at forthestitcherssoul@gmail.com

I love to see what my customers are stitching! What is everyone working on?? Share with us! You can post on the facebook page: For The Stitcher’s Soul.

There are several classes coming up soon (make sure to check the website for more information). May 25th is the Bell Ornament while on June 8th is Make a Biscornu class. If you caught my Time with Terri Wednesday morning, you saw a sneak peak of my progress on the class sample- designed by Giulia Manfredini for the Spring edition of Punch Needle and Primitive Stitcher (available in the shop).

This issue is full of creative designs for your cross-stitching and needle punch. Yes, I have started adding basic needle punch supplies in the store!

Biscornu kits are available at varying price points depending on what supplies you would like to have to complete the class project. Order here or call the shop for more details.

Keep checking for updates- I have a host of classes I am preparing to offer in the months ahead!

New patterns, books and restocks of some of our favorites are in shop now, and are being uploaded to the website as quickly as possible. Some of the latest patterns include charts from Hands on Design’s Box Series. I  a block that celebrates 4th of July as well as a beautiful chart perfect for St. Paddy’s Day, 17th.

Each of these block pin cushions has a matching set of pins sold separately which are also available.

Other new patterns include charts by Plum Street Sampler, Artful Offerings (how could you resist bunnies in a Patriotic Pinwheel Parade?) Cottage Garden Samplings’ latest for their popular A Year in the Woods, and a beautiful pattern for anyone who loves blue- Delft Blues Needlebook by Summer House Stitche Workes.

I’ve restocked Winds of Autumn a beautiful selection of stitching by Blackbird Designs.

Blackbird projects are always hard to resist and this collection is outstanding!

Just a few reminders: the 2022 Stitch-Along is still going strong. These Gnome pillows never fail to put a smile on my face. There is also the Ornament of the Month- each featuring a different finishing idea. Also- the latest Mystery Boxes gave gone out. I was excited about this quarter’s offering, and look forward to putting together the next installment.

Those of you who have your Spring box- let me know how you liked it!

Stitch Nights continue every Wednesday night from 6-8pm. Come join in the fun and friendship!

Until next time- thank you for your continued support and friendship. You are the reason my days here in the shop are filled with joy.

Terri
